Sawyer Crigler Captures ‘Octopless’ Checkers in Revival Dirt Late Model Series at Caney Valley Speedway
Caney, KS. (10/12/24) Returning for a Sunflower State showcase of intense on-track action for the annual ‘Octopless’ event, Caney Valley Speedway would welcome the Revival Dirt Late Model Series presented by Start2Finish TV to find Sawyer Crigler claiming his first feature series victory in the thrilling twenty-five lap battling action.
Starting the competitive night with twenty-three entries for the series in Caney Kansas would see Sawyer Crigler clinch the quick-time in qualifying with a lap of 13.977-seconds with Jacob Magee, Brandon Conkwright, and Chris Hawkins each earning heat racing qualifier victories as Sawyer Crigler attained the high-point qualifier award through a dash win.
Racing into feature green flag action would find pole-starter Sawyer Crigler out-duel all other competitors out of the first pair of corners as Crigler would continue on in the preferred position with the field calculating for spots behind the speedy leader.
Holding steady up front while leading every lap of green flag competition on the evening, Sawyer Crigler would never waver to earn his first career victory in the Revival Dirt Late Model Series. Speedy point leader Kylan Garner would clinch runner-up as Larry Ferris finished third with Brandon Conkwright and Andy Bryant rounding out the top-five finishers for the Revival Dirt Late Model Series presented by Start2Finish TV feature event at Caney Valley Speedway.
